Kooyonga Creek is a winey/vineyard located in North East Victoria. Each year 70,000 bottles are produced across 5 varieties. The wine is of good commercial quality ranging in price from $10 - $29 per bottle. The business is currently repositioning itself and we are looking for someone enthusiastic, honest and self-motivated to journey with us on this next chapter.

Responsibilities

  • Creating, communicating and achieving sales goals
  • Managing existing customers
  • Planning and executing marketing events with the team
  • Scheduling regular team meetings to track performance and progress
  • Management of warehouse stock
  • Liaising with the winemaker regarding product development and releases
  • Organising deliveries
  • Providing feedback to the team on emerging trends

 

Skills/Experience

  • Must be a clear communicator both in writing and speech
  • Proven success in a similar role, specifically demonstrated in growing a small business using sales and marketing
  • Comfortable using technological workflows and electronic communication platforms
  • Experience using data to maximise sales
  • Knowledge of wine and the industry
  • Drivers licence, car and availability to occasionally work out-of-hours for special deliveries
  • Relevant tertiary qualification preferred
